The Anatomist's Wife has such a nice cover. And All-Butter Short Dead and The Crepes of wrath look fun. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of The Anatomist's Wife. The protagonist isn't blonde, so it's kind of an odd choice, but the rest of it evokes the gloomy feel of the book.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed it! It started off kind of bleh for me, but then I slowly got into it and can't wait to read the second book in the series.
DeleteReally nice books in your post. I'm currently reading All-Butter Short Dead, and The Anatomist's Wife is calling to me. I've got to get back to the Rhys Bowen series, too.
ReplyDeleteAll-Butter Short Dead is a quick read, and I really enjoyed The Anatomist's Wife. The first chapter or two had me kind of meh at first, but it quickly grew on me. Definitely going to continue with the series.
DeleteI've never read anything from Rhys Bowen, but I've heard so many good things about the Her Royal Spyness series, and it just seems like so much fun ^^
